About this blog's story
It all started when…
In the spring of 2014 I took a trip to New Zealand, The Land of the Long White Cloud, and the the farthest I had ever traveled! During the trip I was able to see life through a new set of lenses. After having a moment of eureka, I truly realized how traveling, unquestionably, made me so happy. Being a proud bookworm, one of the books I read during that time was The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. One of the approaches she took resonated with me, and I have incorporated that philosophy into my daily life. The ideology that one of the best ways to make other people happy is to first, be happy yourself. This really changed my perspective. I had to find what truly made me happy and really work on making it happen.
That is why I am happy to define myself as a blogger and content creator for This Giant World! I currently live in a little blue house in sunny Hollywood, Florida, where although some say it is close to paradise, I try to have mini getaway weekends every chance I get. I wanted to create This Giant World as a destination site to share traveling ideas for part-time travelers who are looking for a unique perspective when planning a trip to a new destination. I hope to give readers new suggestions, original ideas, and tips, for when planning their next adventures. I want to create and all-encompassing site where you may find all the things that you need to have an unforgettable experience, all under "one roof".
Thank you for reading!
